Product excision nuclease
UvrC recognizes UvrB-DNA complex and binds to it, causing conform.change in UvrB which hydrolyzes P-diester bond 3' to lesion and triggers UvrC to hydrol.P-diester 5' to lesion. UvrC displaced by UvrD helicase.
